It is available for all primary platforms like Mac, Windows, and Linux.  Firefox users are often plagued with a problem where add-ons stop working. Turn on the Firefox Add-ons Again

You should turn on the Firefox add-ons again by following these steps:

  1. First, invoke Firefox and select the hamburger icon to open the menu.
  2. You have to choose the Addons option and turn off all the addons by tapping on their respective toggles.
  3. Then turn on the addons and check whether the problem has been solved.

Set the Time and Date of the System

You can set the time and date of the system by following these steps:

  1. Go to the clock, which appears in the system tray.
  2. Then select the ‘Adjust Date/Time’ option.
  3. You should turn off the ‘Set Time Zone Automatically’ and ‘Set Time Automatically’ options.
  4. After that, tap on the button of Change, then set the time and date.
  5. Later, adjust the right Time Zone of the PC.
  6. If the issue persists, attempt to adjust the system’s date to a day back.

Delete the Toolbars and Buttons Customization

You should delete the toolbars and buttons Customization by following these steps:

  1. Open Firefox and tap on the hamburger icon on the screen.
  2. Then choose the Customize option and select the Restore Defaults option from the resulting screen.
  3. Now, check whether the Firefox add-ons are working or not.

Refresh the Firefox

You can refresh Firefox by following these steps:

  1. Open Firefox and click on the hamburger icon.
  2. Thereafter, select the Help option and then choose ‘Troubleshooting Information.’
  3. You have to choose the button of Refresh Firefox.

Modify the Certificate requirement of Add-ons

You can modify the certificate requirement of add-ons by following these steps listed below:

  1. First, you need to launch Firefox.
  2. Then reach the address section and input ‘about:config’ into it.
  3. Hit the Enter button.
  4. Later, provide confirmation when prompted.
  5. You should browse for ‘xpinstall.signatures.required’ in the section of ‘Search Preference Name’ and switch the toggle to the False side.
  6. Now, reopen Firefox and check if you can use the add-ons or not.
